The VCCB-47 is one of Vulcan's gas charbroiler. It is NSF approved and even CSA design certified. It comes with a full width front grease drawer and the front, top-rim, sides, and grease trough are all stainless steel. This commercial gas broiler comes with four inch adjustable legs and has eight 5 inch reversible slope grates for easy broiling and self-cleaning. This broiler has a standing pilot ignition system and there is one infinite heat control valve for each burner. To keep you extra safe, the underburner baffling system reflects hear upward to create a "cool zone" beneath the burners. This flame broiler features char-radiants and the eight grates are made of long lasting heavy cast iron. It has a three inch rear gas connection and comes with a gas pressure regulator at no extra charge. This restaurant broiler uses only 116,000 BTU's per hour and even has a one year limited warranty on parts and labor.

Some extra features may be ordered with this commercial charbroiler, such as a stainless steel stand with a marine lip, a stainless steel backsplash, four or six casters, or even a plate rail. It is important to protect this long term investment by wiping down the stainless steel with a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner to protect it against rust and pitting. The grates should also be wiped down after every use with a wire brush. For your gas broiler to perform at its optimal performance, you should preheat the grates before cooking on them, which will help reduce the possibility of sticking. The grates should also be positioned on an angle for charbroiling to help drain the grease better and to give you more control over the heat distribution.
