The Vulcan VCCB-36 is a commercial gas broiler. It is 13 inches in height, 27 ¼ inches in depth and 36 inches in width. This charbroiler has a stainless steel front, sides, top-rim and grease trough and comes with a full width front grease drawer. It uses only 87,000 BTU’s per hour and features char radiants. This radiant charbroiler has six heavy, cast iron grates and comes with a 5 ¼ inch reversible slope grate to help with fat run off and control flare ups. It has a standing pilot ignition system and each burner has its own infinite heat control valve. For even more safety the underburner baffling system is designed to reflect heat upwards which creates a “cool zone” under the burners. This Vulcan gas broiler comes with four inch adjustable legs and features a ¾ inch rear gas connection with a gas pressure regulator. Be sure that there is a six inch clearance on both sides when installing and the rear is adjacent to combustible construction.
This restaurant gas broiler is intended for commercial instillation only and is not manufactured for home use. Be sure that after every use the grates are cleaned with a wire brush. The stainless steel should be wiped down regularly also with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth to reduce the possibility of rust and pitting. To be certain that you are getting the most out of your radiant broiler you should be sure that you are using the right grate for your menu. The grates should also be preheated before cooking to reduce the possibility of your food sticking to them and it also helps to dip the food product in seasoned oil before grilling.
