The 6136-RCBD is a Star brand radiant charbroiler that can broil steaks, seafood, vegetables, ribs, and lamb. It is composed of stainless steel on the front panel, bull nose, drip pan, splash guard, and grease trough. This gas broiler comes with heavy duty, four inch adjustable legs and measures 36 inches in width, 25 ¾ inches in depth, and 15 ½ inches in height. For ease of cleaning there is a large capacity, stainless steel water pan and the tapered splash guard is 2 ¾ inches in height to protect against grease and spills. To provide protection and comfort, the bull nose front on this charbroiler is cool to the touch. This gas broiler uses 120,000 BTU’s per hour and has cast iron burners every 12 inches in width for better broiling performance, excellent heat distribution, and maximum sectional control. The cast iron grates can be individually positioned and they are reversible; one side is thin for searing while the other side is thicker for more delicate food products. A gas convertible in the field with a conversion kit is supplied with this radiant broiler and a gas connection that is ¾ inches and a gas pressure regulator are also included. This charbroiler features stainless steel radiants for maximum heat transfer and durability and the side panels are made of double wall aluminized steel.
This Star radiant charbroiler is covered by a one year warranty on parts and labor. It features a single pilot ignition system and is NSF approved. To protect your long term investment be sure to clean the top cooking grates after every time you use them with a stiff wire brush. Wipe the stainless steel down often with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth to protect it against rust and pitting. To stop your food from sticking to your broiler you should preheat the burners before cooking on them and dip your food products into seasoned oil.
