The TDMC-36 is a Toastmaster brand radiant charbroiler. It has a one year warranty on parts and labor and is intended for commercial use only. This gas broiler does not have any electrical requirements but it must be located in a non-combustible place that has an adequate ventilation system. This charbroiler has four inch adjustable legs and a ¾ inch rear gas connection along with a gas pressure regulator. There are three U shaped burners that use a total of 105,000 BTUs per hour with natural gas and 90,000 BTUs per hour with propane gas. Each burner in this commercial broiler has its own knob for adjustable flame height and the area over the burners is covered by a stainless steel radiant. One standing pilot ignition services each burner. There are three cast iron cooking grates on the top and these grates are reversible. One side will produce a ¼ inch brand on food products while the other side produces a 1/8 inch brand. For easier clean up with your restaurant broiler, the narrower grates have a drain channel to drain the grease and there is a full width crumb tray.
This industrial gas broiler measures 36 inches in width, 14 inches in height, and 27 ½ inches in depth and it is NSF approved. This broiler is stainless steel on the front and top rim and the sides and rear are aluminized steel. It is backed by a one year warranty on parts and labor and comes with four inch adjustable legs. To keep your gas charbroiler in excellent condition you should clean the cooking grates after every use with a stiff wire brush. You should also wipe down the stainless steel with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth to prevent the possibility of rust and pitting. To keep your food from sticking too badly when cooking with your gas broiler be sure to preheat the burners and dip your food products into a seasoned oil.
