The TMDCL36 is a Toastmaster brand gas lava rock charbroiler. It has three U shaped burners that are each controlled by an independent flame and a standing pilot ignition system. Each of the burners in this industrial broiler are covered by a stainless steel radiant and heat a separate cast iron grate. The grates can make a ¼ inch brand or a 1/8 inch brand and the narrower grates have drain channels that sends the grease to the grease drawer for easy clean up. This gas charbroiler comes with four inch steel legs and measures 36 inches in width, 25 ½ inches in depth, and 27 inches in height. Because of the low profile of this lava rock broiler, it can fit in virtually any kitchen.
This Toastmaster lava rock charbroiler comes with a ¾ inch rear gas connection and a gas pressure regulator. With natural gas, it uses 105,000 BTUs per hour and with propane gas, it uses only 90,000 BTUs per hour. A one year warranty on parts and labor backs this broiler and it has no electrical requirements. However, this restaurant charbroiler does require a commercial flex hose and must be placed in a non-combustible, well ventilated location. You should check with you local fire and sanitary codes before installing this lava rock charbroiler. It is intended for commercial use only and one bag of lava rock is included for every 12 inch section of the broiler. To protect your food from sticking to the cooking grates, preheat the grates before every use and dip your food products in oil before placing them on the charbroiler. This commercial broiler is NSF approved and it should be protected by cleaning the grates after every use with a wire brush, and by wiping down the stainless steel often with a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner.
