The Star brand 6036-CBD is a gas lava rock charbroiler that is excellent for making steaks, burgers, salmon, ribs, and much more. It has three control valves that are each connected to a H-style, cast iron, heavy-duty burner. These burners provide excellent heat distribution and broiling performance along with maximum sectional control. Each burner uses only 40,000 BTUs per hour and comes with two stainless steel radiants for maximum heat transfer and long-lasting durability. The cooking surface is made of cast iron grates that are reversible. One side is excellent for searing while the other is perfect for delicate foods. These grates can be adjusted and so can the four inch legs that are included. This lava rock broiler also comes with a large capacity stainless steel water pan for easy clean-up and a cool to the touch stainless steel bull nose front to protect against burns. To help stop spills and grease there is even a 2 ¾ inch stainless steel tapered splash guard.
This Star lava rock broiler is 36 inches in width, 25 ¾ inches in depth, and 17 3/8 inches in height. The front panel is stainless steel and there is black polycarbonate trim with double walled, aluminized steel side panels. A standing pilot is provided along with a ¾ inch rear gas connection and a convertible gas pressure regulator. This gas lava rock broiler is backed by a one year warranty on parts and labor and is NSF, AGA, and CGA approved. This charbroiler has no electrical requirements but it must be placed in a well ventilated place around non-combustible materials. To protect this excellent investment be sure to wipe down the stainless steel often with a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner. Also, make sure that you clean the broiling grates after every use with a stiff wire brush. To keep your food from sticking to the grates when cooking with your lava rock charbroiler you should preheat the grates before every use and dip your food products into a seasoned oil.
