Description 

This electric tilting braising pan is the Vulcan-Hart VE40, which measures 46 inches by 35 1/2 inches by 40 1/2 inches. It requires a 240 volt, 1 or 3 phase dedicated breaker or a 480 volt, 3 phase dedicated breaker. This commercial braising pan has a stainless steel front, sides, 12 inch legs with adjustable flanged feet, and back. The stainless steel pan body has coved corners and embossed gallon markings and the stainless steel cooking surface is bonded to the steel plate for extra durability. This tilting braising pan features a full width, 4 inch return flange with a formed pouring lip and a removable strainer. The spring assist cover is stainless steel and has a full width handle. Under the pouring lip of this electric braising pan is a drop away food receiving pan support and there is a manually operated pan lifting mechanism with a folding swing away handle. This braising pan can be fully tilted to empty in approximately 30 crank revolutions.

To provide even heat distribution, this tilting braising pan features flat firebar heating elements that are affixed to the pan bottom, and the elements shut off when the pan tilts 5 degrees. This electric braising pan has solid state, water tight temperature controls. It is backed by a one year limited warranty on parts and labor and has a 40 gallon capacity. Be sure that you clean the stainless steel with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth to reduce the possibility of rust and pitting.
