- Epoxy-set ferrules provide excellent bristle retention, while helping to prevent bacteria harboring air pockets commonly found in inferior brushes.
- Professional, high-quality lacquered hardwood handles with brown plastic ferrules are a favorite among veteran chefs.
- Sparta basting brushes have durable, sterilized, double-boiled bleached boar bristles that are water resistant and can withstand temperatures up to 500° F.
- Long-reach, 12" handle, is bent at 45° angle to keep hands away from hot grills.
- Brushes should not be cleaned in dishwasher, instead, dip in cleaning solution and rinse.
