This Hobart 20 quart all purpose mixer comes with a maximum security correctional package. This machine is also equipped with a 1/2 HP high torque motor and a gear driven transmission. This machine comes with three fixed speeds which are low, intermediate, high, and the unit has a stir speed also. This machine also has shift-on-the-fly controls which allows the operator to change the speeds while the mixer is running and each speed has a soft transition when shifting into a higher speed. The mixer has a magnetic contactor with thermal overload protection and has internally sealed ''start-stop'' push buttons. A 15-minute SmartTimer is standard on this unit and includes Automatic Time Recall which remembers the last time set for each speed. An optional SmartPlus2 Programmable Recipe Timer for this machine allows operators the ability to program up to 4 recipes with 5 steps per recipe. The SmartPlus2 also automatically changes the speeds and starts the timer count-down without operator intervention. This mixer has a heavy-duty bowl guard with a stainless steel wire front and a solid rear portion. The front portion of the guard on this mixer rotates easily to add ingredients and to install or remove the agitator. The guard detaches in seconds for easy cleaning in either the dishwasher or in the sink. The bowl guard must be in the closed postion before the mixer will operate. The bowl lift has an ergonomic swing-out style which makes easy loading or unloading of products and is hand crank operated. This Hobart mixer has a metallic gray hybrid powder coat finish and comes with a front-mounted Hobart standard #12 taper attachment hub for use with any Hobart #12 size attachments.
