The True TUC-60 is an excellent undercounter restaurant cooler. It measures 60 3/8 inches in length, 30 1/8 inches in depth, and 29 ¾ inches in heigth with a capacity of 15.5 cubic feet and a crated weight of 320 pounds. This industrial cooler has a 1/5 horsepower, a voltage of 115/60/1 and 5.1 amps. It is prewired in the factory and the 7 foot cord is ready for connection into a 5-15 phase outlet. It composed of two 300 series stainless steel doors that are each fitted with twelve inch long recessed handles which are foamed in place with a sheet metal interlock so they are permanently attached. The positive seal self-closing doors have a 90º stay open feature and they swing within cabinet dimensions. The magnetic door gaskets are all one piece so that they can easily be removed and cleaned without having to use tools. On the inside of the cabinet there are four adjustable, heavy-duty PVC coated wire shelves that measure 27 ½ inches in length and 16 inches in depth with four chrome plated shelf clips included per shelf. These shelves are supported on pilasters made of NSF approved white aluminum. This same attarctive material is used on the cabinet interior as well. The entire cabinet structure as well as the solid doors are foamed-in-place using high density, CFC free, polyurethane insulation and the stem castors are 5 inches in diameter. The exterior of this industrial cooler and the floor of the interior is made of 300 series stainless steel which has high tensile strenght and protects against dents and scratches. This stainless steel is the best in class but it is important to protect it against hard water and food deposits because these will ruin the quality of the steel and can cause rust and pitting. To prevent this clean your stainless steel with non-chloride cleaners that are free of quaternary salts. Also, never use a wire or steel brush or pad, always a soft cloth.
134A refrigerant is used in this front breathing industrial cooler, which is excellent for enviromentally conscious users. The refrigeration system is factory balanced and oversized with a 360º guided airflow. The temperature in this undercounter cooler is between 33ºF and 38ºF and it is maintained by a high horsepower compressor, a large condenser, and an extra large evaporator coil that is 1/8 inches in diameter bigger than industry standards. The evaporator fan motors and huge fan blades are another plus on this portable cooler and they maintain a low velocity and high volume airflow for shorter run times and better temperature recovery. Because the fan blades and the condenser coil are of such high quality it is important to clean them every thirty day with a stiff bristle brush which will minimize service expense and lower your electrical costs.
